Successful International Baccalaureate consultant visit

On October 26th-28th, 2020, the IB Consultant’s Visit took place at VFIS. Unlike previous years, due to Covid-19, the visit was virtual with the IB Consultant interviewing and meeting stakeholders via the Internet from France. 

The school has been preparing for the visit since September 2019. The Consultant interviewed the IB Coordinator, the Board of Management, Teachers, Students and Parents. She also reviewed all the required documentation as well as the videos that were prepared to showcase the school and its facilities. Grade 10 students were involved in the videos. 

The Consultant’s report will help the school to complete preparations for the Application for Authorisation. The Consultant’s Visit is a major milestone in the school’s progress to becoming authorised as an IB World School in the near future.
