Ambassador of the Republic of Finland in Vietnam paid a visit to the Vietnam - Finland International School

VFIS is honored to extend a warm welcome to H.E. Keijo Norvanto, the Ambassador of the Republic of Finland to Vietnam, on his visit with the Vietnam - Finland International School. Joining the Ambassador were Dr. Vo Hoang Duy, Vice President of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU), Acting Head of VFIS, Ms. Miekk-Oja Suvi Kristiina and representatives from the teaching and administrative staff who warmly received the Ambassador's visit. 

In the course of the visit, H.E. Keijo Norvanto engaged in discussions with the School Board of VFIS. The focus was on enhancing teaching and learning activities through innovation, with the Ambassador's support. This included program accreditation, resource sharing, introducing Finnish teachers to VFIS, and facilitating opportunities for students to pursue further education, research and employment in Finland after graduating from VFIS.

Throughout the occasion, the Ambassador expressed his appreciation and encouragement to the teaching staff, particularly the teachers from Finland. H.E. Keijo Norvanto affirmed that the Ambassador would continuously provide support and foster a conducive environment for an exceptional working and teaching experience at VFIS.

The gracious presence of H.E. Keijo Norvanto, the Ambassador of the Republic of Finland to Vietnam, to VFIS concluded successfully, opening up exciting prospects for both teachers and students in their educational journey at VFIS - the school of happiness and peace.
