MRS. TEIJA NORVANTO - SPOUSE OF THE AMBASSADOR OF FINLAND IN VIETNAM AND HER VISIT TO VIETNAM - FINLAND INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL 

On the afternoon of January 11, 2024, Vietnam - Finland International School (VFIS) was honored to welcome Mrs. Teija Norvanto - Spouse of the Ambassador of Finland in Vietnam for a visit and meeting with the VFIS Head of School and staff members.

During her first visit to VFIS, Mrs. Teija Norvanto shared her positive impressions of the VFIS Finnish-standard school model in Vietnam. She particularly noted the remarkable attention to detail in terms of infrastructure and equipment, which closely resembled that of schools in Finland. This provides an exceptional environment for the successful implementation of the Finnish education program at VFIS.

In the working session following the school tour, Mrs. Teija Norvanto had an intimate conversation with VFIS teachers in a Finnish language class. This not only boosted the morale and teaching spirit of the VFIS teaching staff but also provided an opportunity for our esteemed teachers to enrich the traditional Finnish values and continue to offer VFIS students interesting lessons from the happiest country in the world.
