VFIS End of School Year 2023-2024 Ceremony
Vietnam-Finland International School (VFIS) under Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) proudly held End of the school year 2023-2024 ceremony on June 5th.
The ceremony was a celebration of the entire VFIS community - teachers, students, parents, and partners! We were honored to have Mr. Dang Nguyen Thinh, Head of the Department of Education & Training, District 7, Ho Chi Minh City; Dr. Tran Trong Dao, President of TDTU; Dr. Vo Hoang Duy, Vice President of TDTU, Director of VFIS; and Ms. Miekk-Oja Suvi Kristiina, Acting Head of VFIS join us for this special occasion.
This year's graduating class truly embodied the SISU spirit of Finnish education - progressive, strong, and resilient. We are incredibly proud to award completion certificates to over 500 students, along with program completion certificates for Primary, Secondary, and High School to our grade 5, 9, and 12 students. The annual VFIS Awards were another highlight, recognizing outstanding achievements in academics, culture, arts, sports, and innovation!
With their strong knowledge base, exceptional English language skills (IELTS 7.0+), and diverse life skills honed at VFIS, our grade 12 graduates are ready to conquer their next steps! Many are choosing to continue their education at prestigious universities in Vietnam and abroad, with some even choosing TDTU itself thanks to our direct admissions policy.
The closing ceremony was a joyous occasion that solidified the unity and commitment of our entire school community. Together, we are dedicated to providing the best possible education for our students and building a bright future for learners at VFIS!
