Vietnam - Finland International School Signed a Cooperation Agreement with Chi Cultural Joint Stock Company (CHIBOOKS)

On June 28, 2024, Vietnam - Finland International School (VFIS) worked and signed a Cooperation Agreement with Chi Cultural Joint Stock Company (CHIBOOKS)

Attending the signing ceremony, representing Chi Cultural Joint Stock Company, there was the attendance of Ms. Nguyen Le Chi - Director of CHIBOOKS. On behalf of Vietnam - Finland International School (VFIS), there were Ms. Dang Thi Phi Yen - Deputy Director along with VFIS teachers and staff attending and witnessing the signing ceremony.

The Cooperation Agreement were signed by two Parties on the exchange activities between authors/translators and VFIS students in terms of topics related to publishment, reading culture, the importance of intellectual property and copyright; Moreover, a wide range of other activities are included, such as: Co-operate book review competitions; Share experience of publishment and digital transformation with VFIS; Share new catalog released by CHIBOOKS on a regular basis and appropriately allocate to High school curriculum at VFIS; Become a sponsor for academic activities for VFIS students, such as: academic competition, skill-based training courses, research reports, which can make a great contribution to the development of reading culture in VFIS community. Noticeably, on the special occasion, it was 88 book titles/440 literature and self-help books worth over VND 42 million that had been given to Vietnam - Finland International School by Chi Cultural Joint Stock Company. 

Having been established for 16 years, Chibooks has gained excellent reputation in the field of publishment in Vietnam and the area. The total number of books purchased the license and published by Chibooks has been more than 500 book titles up to now; especially, among that, there are a wide variety of book titles on foreign literature and promoting Vietnamese literature-culture books to the world. The company has cooperated with domestic educational units to implement activities encouraging the development of reading culture. Since 2020, Chibooks has given more than 40 bookcases for different high schools and universities in Vietnam.
