On October 1, 2024, Vietnam - Finland International School (VFIS) honored to welcome Mr. Keijo Norvanto, the Ambassador of the Republic of Finland to Vietnam, for a visit and discussions.

With the presence of nearly 400 participants from different schools within Ho Chi Minh City, SMC 2024 was recognized as a celebration for mathematics enthusiasts.
This event not only highlighted the rich values of Vietnamese culture but also exemplified the spirit of sharing and compassion through various volunteer activities organized by VFIS students. These initiatives aimed to mobilize the VFIS community to support compatriots affected by recent typhoon and floods.
We are pleased to announce that Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong will officially take on the role of Deputy Head of School for the 2024-2025 school year and the 2024-2029 tenure.
On August 22, 2024, the Vietnam-Finland International School (VFIS), under Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU), ceremoniously held the opening ceremony for the School Year 2024-2025.

Welcome everyone to the Opening ceremony of the new school year at VFIS. Thank you all for being here today.
Five months ago, I stumbled across VFIS and realized that VFIS could serve as a perfect launching pad for me with my desire to go to Finland for university. I immediately applied for VFIS scholarship at that time. Luckily enough, I got it and has become a part of VFIS.
I am deeply honoured to represent the VFIS students to give a speech at this meaningful event today.
Early-hour testing, also known as oral testing, is no longer unfamiliar to teachers and students in Vietnamese public schools.
As we step into this new academic journey, I want to acknowledge the remarkable teachers who have dedicated themselves to shaping our minds and guiding us toward success.
