The purpose of assessment is to guide and encourage learning and to develop students’ capability for self-assessment. For the most part, assessment takes place in the interaction between teacher and student. Assessment should be continuous and varied. Experiencing success encourages students to learn more, but mistakes and failures are also an important part of the learning process. Assessment is an integral part of instruction and is used in a manner that promotes
learning and is honest and respectful.

In order to educate our students towards a respectful and grateful attitude towards teachers and to promote the teacher-student relationship, a series of activities were held at VFIS on November 20th, 2019. The students gave their teachers handmade cards, which were creatively made with care and meaningful wishes. The teachers and students joined meaningful activities in their class. Some parents also volunteered to be a teacher in their child(ren)’s class.
