Ms. Nguyen Thi Nam Huong

My name is Nguyen Thi Nam Huong, and I am commonly known as Ms. Flora. I joined the Vietnam-Finland International School (VFIS) as a Teaching Assistant from the very beginning of the school’s establishment. After graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in English Language from Ton Duc Thang University, I chose VFIS to begin my journey in education, driven by my desire to learn more about the Finnish education system – known for its focus on developing happy, well-rounded individuals.

Before joining VFIS, I had four years of experience teaching English . At VFIS, I have been fortunate to work alongside and learn from many experienced teachers, especially dedicated and highly experienced Vietnamese teachers. This is something I deeply value throughout my professional journey.

With a desire to contribute more to the school's development and build a long-term career at VFIS, I decided to pursue a second degree in Primary Education at Ho Chi Minh City University of Education to become a homeroom teacher and teach students directly. I am currently in my second year and expect to complete the programme in approximately two more years.
