VFIS Secondary Summer Course 2026 | THE SISU CODE: 7 Days Beyond the Limits

This Summer 2026, Vietnam-Finland International School (VFIS) brings Secondary students on a unique experiential journey at Ton Duc Thang University – Bao Loc Campus, Lam Dong Province, under the theme THE SISU CODE: 7 Days Beyond the Limits.

Inspired by the Finnish spirit of “Sisu” - a symbol of determination, resilience, and the courage to overcome challenges - the program is designed around a series of physical activities, survival experiences, teamwork missions, leadership training, and personal challenges set within the dynamic natural environment of Ton Duc Thang University – Bao Loc Campus, Lam Dong Province.

Throughout these seven extraordinary days, students will learn independence, develop discipline, strengthen adaptability, build teamwork spirit, and grow the confidence needed to push beyond their own limits.

“The Sisu Code” is not only a summer challenge, but also a journey of discovering inner strength - empowering each student to become stronger, more mature, and ready for the journeys ahead.

TIME & VENUE

- Program Duration: From June 28, 2026 to July 4, 2026
- Training & Learning Venue: Ton Duc Thang University (Nguyen Tuan Street, Bao Loc, Lam Dong Province)
- Accommodation: Dormitory of Ton Duc Thang University - Bao Loc Campus (Nguyen Tuan Street, Bao Loc, Lam Dong Province)

PARTICIPANTS & PROGRAM SCALE

- Participants: Students from Grades 6 to 12
- Minimum Number of Participants: 20 students
- Maximum Number of Participants per Group: 40 students

LEARNING PROGRAM

The summer course themed “THE SISU CODE: 7 Days Beyond the Limits” includes the following activities and learning experiences:
- Discipline training and military-style routines;
- Independence and community living skills;
- Teamwork and leadership development;
- Self-defense and basic first-aid skills;
- Values education and character building;
- Outdoor activities and hands-on experiences;
- Emotional management and personal growth skills.

COURSE FEE AND OTHER SUPPLEMENTARY FEES

Course Fee: 7,000,000 vnd/ student (Inclusive of transportation, meals, and accommodation expenses)
Students will receive a 10% discount when completing payment before June 09, 2026.
In case a student has paid the program fee but notifies the school of withdrawal before June 28, 2026, 50% of the paid fee will be refunded.
In case a student withdraws from June 28, 2026 onward, the paid program fee will be non-refundable.
