Students’ Speech for the Opening Ceremony, School year 2023-2024

Ladies and gentlemen, teachers, fellow students, and all the wonderful people gathered here today.

First and foremost, I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you for being here as we embark on a new school year at the Vietnamese - Finland International School. It is truly an honor to stand before you and express my appreciation for the support and encouragement we receive from all corners of this amazing community. I would like to sincerely thank the School Board of Ton Duc Thang University for providing us the ideal learning environment at VFIS.

As we step into this new academic journey, I want to acknowledge the remarkable teachers who have dedicated themselves to shaping our minds and guiding us toward success. Your passion for education is evident in the way you engage with us, inspiring us to think critically, question relentlessly, and seek knowledge beyond the classroom walls. Your commitment to our growth does not go unnoticed, and we are immensely grateful for your guidance.

I would also like to express my gratitude to our parents and families. Your unwavering support and belief in our potential provide the foundation for our success. Your sacrifices and dedication to our education remind us of the value of learning and the importance of pushing ourselves to achieve greatness. 

Thank you for being our pillars of strength and for instilling in us the values that will guide us throughout our lives.

To my fellow students, thank you for making this school a vibrant and diverse place of learning. With each one of us bringing our unique perspectives and experiences to the table, we create a rich tapestry of ideas and innovation. Let's continue to support and uplift one another, fostering an environment where everyone can thrive academically and personally.

As we begin this new school year, let us remember the opportunities that lie before us. Every challenge we face and every obstacle we overcome are stepping stones toward our dreams. Let us embrace each lesson, each experience, and each friendship as a chance to grow and evolve.

In the midst of our pursuit of academic excellence, let us also remember the importance of empathy and compassion. As seniors, we have the privilege and responsibility to lead by example. Let's set the bar high not only in our academic endeavors but also in our character.
