Visiting the book street

Reading is an essential part of education at VFIS. A new secondary school library aligned with IB World School standards is being built in addition to the existing primary school library. At VFIS, there is also a Library hour built into the weekly schedule. 

Reading is a personal habit, but it should also be a communal culture.  At school, we want to show our students the social aspect of reading, and that is the reason for the field trip to the Book Street on Saturday, June 13th, 2020. The field trip was a natural next step after Book Week celebrated in March.

Through such activities, we hope to inspire in our students a love of reading and strengthen VFIS as a community of book lovers.
