"Both the IB Diploma Program (IBDP) and Finnish education are known for their quality. At VFIS, a unique blend of Finnish philosophy and curriculum with the IB's curriculum prepares students holistically before they transition into the IBDP. The IBDP is taught by educated, knowledgeable, and passionate VFIS teachers who are IB-trained and knowledgeable in their respective fields. They strive to impart on students the knowledge and skills necessary for a solid foundation to not only excel on the IB examinations but also beyond. Our emphasis on well-being and holistic development sets us apart from other schools. VFIS IB learners are encouraged to explore their interests while remaining open-minded and balanced. Moreover, on and off-campus opportunities are available to further cultivate students' diverse skill set. Ultimately, we endeavor to provide students with both academic knowledge and essential life-skills necessary for their development as life-long learners."
